Children & Young People 11-18
In an age when we are bombarded by so much information, we can quickly feel overwhelmed. Our sense of ourselves and life direction can suddenly feel confused. We can develop unrealistic views of ourselves in relation to the world around us. Counselling can help challenge these unhealthy mindsets. It can support us to construct a clearer sense of our own identity. It can help us to develop strategies so that we can better manage life's ups and downs.
Sometimes we can get stuck in a repetitive cycle of emotions or behaviours that can leave us feeling unfulfilled and unhappy. Through counselling you can deepen your understanding of how life events and experiences may have influenced how you experience the world and yourself within it. It can help you to look forward to a future with renewed hope and a clearer perspective.

I’ve successfully helped many adult and young clients overcome life challenges such as anxieties, panic, stress, depression, loss and relationship problems.
My approach is to offer you a therapeutic relationship in which you feel valued, supported and listened to. By working alongside each other at a pace that is best for you, we can safely explore any difficult emotions, worries, fears, feelings or experiences. Whether these are a result of historical or current ongoing difficulty, or a one-off traumatic event, we can explore these themes in a confidential and welcoming environment.
Talking to a therapist can help you set new goals, to see your problems and worries through a clearer perspective.
Counselling can help you learn how to cope with life challenges better, it can help you to feel less isolated, and importantly, help you to put in place the changes that are the best fit for you.
